So what is PPC or pay-per-click advertising? I’m gonna tell you right now.
Hello everyone, I’m Maggie at Vixen Digital
Certified PPC specialists. We help you to get the right clicks. So what is
PPC? PPC stands for pay-per-click advertising it is also known as SEM
search engine marketing, paid media or paid search. PPC is a type of digital
marketing where you pay only when someone clicks on your ad. It enables
you to target users already actively searching for your products or services.
Let’s say you own a local bakery and you want more people to buy your fresh
bread in the morning. You can set up a campaign and target people searching for
terms such as fresh bread. [YUMMY] Not only can you target people
searching for these terms but you can also target users in a specific location
at certain times of day or even based on the device they’re searching from. You can
choose to show text ads above organic results or you can show banner ads
across various websites. The great thing about PPC advertising is that there is
no minimum budget which makes it very accessible to every advertiser. There is
no need to be breaking the bank to simply make it work.
Also, there are loads of ways of stretching your budget to make it go
even further. Let’s go back to our local bakery. Let’s say we’re closed
on the weekends. We can schedule our ads to stop showing outside of our business
hours. This means that we won’t be wasting money on clicks from people who can’t
visit our shop. You can also save money by excluding people searching for
irrelevant terms, we already know that we can show our ads for terms such as fresh
bread, however, we don’t want to show our ads to people searching for…. for example:
“how to make fresh bread”. If you’re thinking about digital
marketing for your business, PPC is the best place to start. This is because of
its precise targeting, flexible budgets and data-driven results. PPC can help you
achieve a variety of business goals such as sales, lead generation or raising
brand awareness. Let us know in the comments what your PPC goals are or
